ASHLEY HUGILL has been drawn against former Masters champion Yan Bingtao in the qualifiers for the BetVictor English Open.
The tie has been held over to take place at the ranking event's main arena, the Brentwood Centre in Essex, and is set to take place on Monday, December 12.
Melbourne's Hugill is currently ranked at 104 in the world and will head into the clash as the significant underdog.
Bingtao is the world's number 15 and last year won the Masters, one of snooker's three Triple Crown events.
Last season, the Chinese star reached the German Masters final and the semi-finals of the Northern Ireland Open, Champion of Champions and Championship League.
