RONNIE O'SULLIVAN outlined his status as favourite for the 2022 Cazoo UK Championship title at the York Barbican by thrashing Zhou Yuelong 6-0.
O'Sullivan made century breaks of 137 and 103 - the former being the main-stage-high of the tournament - in the rout to secure a quarter-final spot.
'The Rocket' is bidding for a record-extending eighth UK title this week.
The reigning and seven-time world champion has been joined in the quarters by 2018 semi-finalist Tom Ford, who beat last year's runner-up Luca Brecel 6-3.
In the last 16, tomorrow afternoon (1pm), the tournament's lowest-ranked player, world number 49 Jamie Clarke takes on thrice UK Championship winner Ding Junhui while Triple Crown champions Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy face off.
Murphy qualified for the last 16 after a 6-5 win over former world number 10 David Gilbert.
Tomorrow night (7pm), 2015 world champion Stuart Bingham plays reigning Welsh Open holder Joe Perry and 2022 Shoot Out winner Hossein Vafaei meets six-time ranking event finalist Jack Lisowski.
Vafaei will be seeking another upset win after knocking out four-time world champion Mark Selby.
