TADCASTER Albion have sacked joint-managers Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson after the pair failed to win any of their 13 matches in charge.
Ogilvie and Sibson were appointed at Tadcaster in late September but were unable to turn around Albion's winless season.
The Brewers have failed to win any of their 24 matches this term, having drawn eight and lost 13 in the Pitching In Northern Premier League east.
Currently bottom of the table, Tadcaster perilously sit 13 points adrift of guaranteed safety from relegation.
Departing pair Ogilvie and Sibson leave the So-Trak Stadium with a record of no wins, five draws and eight losses.
The duo's final match in charge was a 2-0 defeat at Bridlington Town on Monday.
Goals in either half from defender Benn Lewis and substitute Joe Norton saw the hosts prevail.
On the exit of Ogilvie and Sibson, a Tadcaster statement read: "We would like to place on record our appreciation of their considerable efforts to rebuild the playing squad.
"But with the club firmly languishing at the bottom of the Northern Premier League East, and our results as worrying as they were back in September, the board felt that steps to improve matters should be introduced now at the halfway stage of the season."
First-team coach Andy Monkhouse has stepped up to become Tadcaster's new manager.
Monkhouse, whose first match at the helm is at home to Brighouse Town on Monday (1pm), is in his third season at Albion, having previously featured for the club as a player.
The UEFA 'A' License coach has previously managed fellow NPL east outfit Pontefract Collieries following a playing career that included spells at Rotherham United, Swindon Town, Hartlepool United and Bristol Rovers.
Elsewhere, Selby Town moved five points clear of the Toolstation Northern Counties East League division one relegation zone after a 1-0 win over Shirebrook Town.
A last-minute goal from Liam Flanagan saw Selby seal a first home league win since August.
The 14th-placed Robins visit 13th-placed Swallownest on Friday night (7.45pm).
