YORK boxing prospect Michael Fafera will make his first ring appearance of 2023 on Saturday, March 4.
Fafera, who has won all seven of his professional bouts, will be in action on a Mark Bateson promotion at the Elland Road Pavilion in Leeds in just over three months.
The 28-year-old will box for the first time since his four-round points win over former Central Area champion Darryl Sharp in June.
Fafera had been due to fight Bulgarian Danail Stoyanov in November but was forced to withdraw from the bout due to illness. An opponent for March 4 has yet to be determined.
The Elland Road bill also features unbeaten prospects Mick Learmonth, Ishmael Davis, Koby McNamara, Jack Bagnall, Kurt Jackson, Josh Wisher, Lenny Davidson, Hamed Saghir and Daz Smith as well as Leeds talents Conner Lee Doherty and Kurt Brombery.
