YORK Valkyrie forward Jess Sharp crossed for a hat-trick of tries to help Hull KR Women to a 58-6 thrashing of newly-promoted Swinton Lionesses yesterday.
Demi Thomas, Madison Kendall, Kayleigh Bulman-Hook, Amy Nolan, Lois Brown and Abbie Kudla also crossed the whitewash for KR, who maintained their 100 per cent start to the Women’s Championship season in style.
Ben Parker’s side remain at top of the table, having claimed four wins from their four matches thus far.
A 32-20 triumph at home to Oulton Raidettes on the opening weekend was followed by a 106-0 thrashing of Wakefield Trinity, before the Robins saw off Warrington Lunas 26-10 at Sewell Group Craven Park last weekend.

Unfortunately Sunday's match was cut short due to an injury to a Swinton player, but the convincing scoreline was more than enough for Hull to leave Greater Manchester with the two points.
17-year-old Sharp joined the Valkyrie earlier this month after an impressive breakthrough season with the Robins, and will receive regular game time with the East Yorkshire side alongside her training with the Valkyrie.
Last summer, the talented forward was selected for the Yorkshire Girls’ Talent Hub, a programme that recognised the standout talents in girls’ rugby league, before going on to feature for England Community Lions in their 22-18 victory over England DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) earlier this year.
Hull KR Women are next in action at Widnes Vikings on Sunday, April 2, while the Valkyrie begin their Women's Super League campaign with a repeat of last season's Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final on Easter Sunday, April 9 against Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium (3:30pm).
