YORK Valkyrie's home Betfred Women's Super League opener against St Helens will be broadcast live by The Sportsman.
Lindsay Anfield's charges will take on the reigning Betfred Challenge Cup winners at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday, April 16 (1pm).
The fixture marks the second heavyweight clash in as many weeks for the Valkyrie, with the current League Leaders' Shield holders starting their campaign with a trip to Headingley to face Leeds Rhinos on Easter Sunday, April 9 (3:30pm).

That match, which is a repeat of last year's Grand Final, will form part of a double-header in front of the Sky Sports cameras, with the Rhinos' men taking on Betfred Super League rivals Huddersfield Giants that evening.
Tickets for the Valkyrie's clash with St Helens are available to purchase from both the club's website and ticket office, priced at £5 for Adults, while Concessions and Under 16s go free.
