YORK Valkyrie will learn their opponents in the Quarter Finals of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup next Friday (May 26).

The eagerly-anticipated draw will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 5 Live following the conclusion of the Betfred Super League fixture between Leeds Rhinos and St Helens.

Salford Red Devils head coach Paul Rowley will conduct the draw from Headingley Stadium.

Such was the convincing manners of their 44-4 victory at Barrow Raiders and record-breaking 122-0 home triumph over Hull KR at the LNER Community Stadium, the Valkyrie have already ensured their progression in the competition ahead of Sunday's match at Leigh Leopards.

Should the Valkyrie top Group Three, they will be handed an all-important home fixture in the Quarter Finals.

Seven of the eight teams - York Valkyrie, Leigh Leopards, Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Wigan Warriors, St Helens and Warrington Wolves - have already sealed their progression in the competition.

The Final, which was won last year by St Helens, will be held for the first time alongside the men's competition at Wembley Stadium on August 12 - with both matches shown via BBC Sport.
