TADCASTER Albion, Pickering Town, Knaresborough Town and Selby Town have all found out their opening two fixtures of the upcoming Northern Counties Eastern League fixtures.
The full fixture list is yet to be announced due to issues with Albion Sports’ ground sharing details with Bradford (Park Avenue), with the latter’s fixtures yet to be released.
As a result, only the opening two fixtures have been announced, for matches to be played on Saturday, July 29 (3pm) and Tuesday, August 1 (7.45pm).
Tadcaster will begin their season on the road to West Yorkshire, to take on a Thackley side who finished last season in a comfortable 14th position.
The first home match at the So-Trak stadium back in the NCEL premier division will be against Frickley Athletic on the Tuesday, who are preparing for their second season back in the premier division.
Pickering are also a new addition to the NCEL premier division after their lateral change, and are set to take on a fellow North Yorkshire outfit against local side Knaresborough.
Manager Rudy Funk has outlined his plans for the club and will be targeting promotion, something which Knaresborough will also have their eyes on after recruiting the likes of Nathan Cartman and Jack Emmett.
Pickering will then host newly-promoted Rossington Main on the Tuesday, whilst Knaresborough will travel to Silsden.
In division one, Selby will kick-off their campaign also with promotion ambitions, making the trip to Swallownest.
The Robins will then host Shirebrook Town on the Tuesday as their opening home game of the season.
