The Uggla family have completed their takeover of York City FC after acquiring a 51 per cent stake in the club.
The Majority stake in the football club was achieved by 394 Sports Ltd, led by mother and son duo Julie-Anne and Mathew Uggla.
The pair have now become co-chairs of the club and have been added to the club's board of directors alongside two supporters' trust appointees.

Speaking on the takeover, Matt said: “It’s amazing to get it done. It has been a pretty quick process and we need to hit the ground running because things are getting underway and we need to catch up with other teams who have had all summer to prepare."

Who are the Uggla family after York City FC takeover?
The Uggla family are billionaires from Canada and have a number of interests in business, charity and investment.
Matt Uggla is the son of Lance Uggla, a significant supporter of the Tate Galleries.
Mathew runs significant investments and is responsible for residential portfolios in the UK.
His mother Julie-Anne Uggla is the ex-wife of Lance and is heavily involved in charitable and human rights groups such as the Human Rights Watch.

Have the Uggla family tried to buy any other clubs?
The Uggla family have had an interest in football for a number of years with the family attempting to complete a full takeover of Yeovil Town FC in Somerset.
After this failed attempt, the club suffered relegation to the Vanarama National League South.
