YORK Valkyrie have announced that eight more players have signed professional contracts with the club, and have confirmed their squad for the 2024 season.
Ash Hyde, Sade Rihari, Ellie Hendry, Daisy Sanderson, Bettie Lambert, Kelsey Gentles, and Georgia Taylor have all signed professional two-year contracts with the club.
The eight continue to make history with York RLFC after Tara Jane Stanley, Liv Wood and Sinead Peach all signed two-year deals with the club, becoming the first in the Betfred Women's Super League history to sign its players to professional contracts.
York's more recent players to sign professional contracts will join 12 other selected players, including Tamzin Renouf, Savannah Andrade and Wood to make up a 20 player squad.
The Valkyrie also announced the signing of former St. Helen's centre and England Women's star Eboni Partington, who joins Lindsay Anfield's side for the 2024 season.
Winger Kelsey Gentles has returned to the side following the birth of her child with former York Knights centre Jacob Ogden.
