YORK City have confirmed their second fixture of their 2024/25 pre-season.
Adam Hinshelwood's side will travel to Vanarama National League North outfit Spennymoor Town for their final match of pre-season, taking place on Saturday, August 3 (3pm).
The fixture will commence just seven days before the beginning of the Vanarama National League season, which gets underway on Saturday, August 10 (3pm).
York previously confirmed that they will host Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 10 (7pm) in the first of their friendly fixtures.
A trip to Spennymoor has now been added to the agenda, against a Jason Ainsley side that ended their 2023/24 National League North campaign in ninth position.
The Moors missed out on the play-off positions by just one point, ending their season with just one defeat in their final five matches.
The scheduled visit to Brewery Field is one which City supporters will be familiar with, having wrestled with Spennymoor during their stint within the National League North.
York have defeated Spennymoor on four of their previous five meetings, prior to a heavy 3-0 defeat to Town in October 2018.
