YORK City are set to host a former Premier League side in pre-season.
Chris Wilder's Sheffield United will head to the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday, July 13, for a 3pm kick off.
Adam Hinshelwood’s pre-season has already confirmed a visit from League One side Huddersfield Town and a trip to National League North's Spennymoor Town, with Sheffield United becoming the Minstermen's third confirmed pre-season friendly fixture.

Chris Wilder's side suffered relegation from the Premier League after a difficult 2023/24 season.
City last tested themselves against the Blades ten years ago, hosting them at Bootham Crescent in the final pre-season home friendly ahead of the 2014/15 season.
Supporters would have to go back to 2002 for the last competitive fixture between the two sides - a 1-0 loss in the League Cup.
Ticket sales, and the details attached with that, will be confirmed in due course.
