YORK City have remarkably made their third signing of the hour, bringing in exciting winger Ashley Nathaniel-George.
Following a two-year period with fellow Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United, Nathaniel-George has made the move to North Yorkshire upon the expiry of his contract.
Nathaniel-George spent his youth career at Arsenal, Watford, Wycombe, and Wealdstone, before moving permanently to Potters Bar Town.
After an impressive season at Hendon, he joined Sky Bet League 2 side Crawley Town for a two-year spell.
Nathaniel-George joined Maidenhead in September 2022 after spells at Southend United in League Two and Torquay United in the National League, winning Maidenhead's Supporters Player of the Year in 2023.
The winger has also been capped for Antigua and Barbuda on 11 occasions, scoring one goal when representing his country.
City supporters will recognise Nathaniel-George from two impressive performances against the Minstermen last campaign, scoring in each reverse fixture.
His goal at the LNER Community Stadium was particularly impressive, as the two sides played out two 1-1 draws last season.
