FORMER York City promotion-hero and Isuzu FA Trophy winner Adriano Moke has found a new club, linking back up with a former loanee with the Minstermen.
Mark Bower, who recently became manager at Guiseley in the Northern Premier League, has added Moke to his ranks as he begins to build his squad.
Moke is well-known amongst the York faithful after a first spell in the 2011/12 season, joining the Minstermen in the Vanarama National League after spells with Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Spanish side Jerez Industrial CF.
The midfielder would make a combined 34 appearances in all competitions as City memorably reached both the play-off final and the FA Trophy final, lifting two trophies in one week at Wembley stadium.
Moke would later have spells throughout English football with numerous clubs, playing with Cambridge United, Stockport County, Wrexham and Boreham Wood, before returning to the Minstermen in 2016.
A four-year spell back with City would follow, making a combined 123 appearances as Moke featured in York's relegation into the Vanarama National League North, before remaining with the football club in their regional football stint.
Moke since played with Spennymoor Town, Darlington and Hednesford Town, before making the move to Guiseley to link up with Bower.
Bower himself is a recognised face to York, making 36 appearances in the City shirt during an initial loan spell in 2001.
Following an impressive career with the likes of Bradford City, Luton Town and FC Halifax Town, Bower would make the switch into management when taking charge at Guiseley for three years, before a long-term stint in charge of Bradford (Park Avenue).
Bower has since returned to Guiseley in the Summer, and has begun building his squad as the Lions look to mount a promotion push back into the National League North.
