YORK City revealed their new third strip in Saturday afternoon's pre-season opener with Sheffield United.

As initially spotted in the warm-ups ahead of kick-off, York's first pre-season outing of the 2024/25 season saw Adam Hinshelwood's side wearing a new pink kit.

The pink strip has navy shorts, and is the first time that a City side has worn pink, other than goalkeeper kits.

As designed by Hummel, York began a three-year partnership with the kit manufacturers that will run until the 2027/28 season.

Today's friendly with Sheffield United, that ended in a 2-1 defeat for the Minstermen, also saw both Harrison Male and Rory Watson wear a new yellow goalkeeping strip.

The new pink kit is now available to purchase within the York City shop, which can be found at the LNER Community Stadium sports complex.

There is no confirmation yet on when to expect the new away kit to be dropped, with City still awaiting stock on their home kit for the 2024/25 season, which was released when the Minstermen unveiled the permanent addition of Alex Hunt.
