ROTHERHAM United have pulled out of their scheduled friendly with Tadcaster Albion due to injuries sustained in training.
The sides should have faced off at the Young Guns Arena tomorrow evening (7.45pm) in the Brewers’ final home match of pre-season.
Instead, Tadcaster will now host NCEL Division One side Yorkshire Amateur, who have stepped in at the last minute to ensure a friendly goes ahead.
Tadcaster confirmed the news via social media this afternoon, saying: “Unfortunately Rotherham United have had to pull out of tomorrow night’s friendly after picking up injuries in training this morning.
“We will now welcome Yorkshire Amateur to The Young Guns Arena who we thank for their cooperation.”

Mick O’Connell's side have so far beaten Selby Town and lost to higher opposition in Brighouse Town, Scarborough Athletic and Emley during pre-season.
They will begin their NCEL Premier Division campaign at home to Bottesford Town on July 27 (3pm).
