YORK City will visit Garforth Town as their seventh confirmed friendly of pre-season.

Adam Hinshelwood’s side have added another fixture to their pre-season schedule, with a trip to Garforth’s Bannister Prentice Stadium set to take place on Tuesday, July 30 (7.45pm).

Garforth now play their football in the Northern Premier League East Division, three below York, after winning promotion from the Northern Counties Eastern League premier division via the play-offs last campaign.

City last hosted Garforth in last year’s pre-season at their training ground, coming out victorious in a 4-1 win, with goals coming from Zanda Siziba, Scott Burgess, Maziar Kouhyar and Jonny Shepherd.

Ticket details for York's seventh confirmed friendly of pre-season will be released in due course.

Up next for the Minstermen is a return to home soil, as Grimsby Town visit the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday, July 20 (3pm).
