FOR those suffering from Olympic fever, a York based group is here to help.
Yorkshire Triathlon is running their first ‘Paris Inspired: Swim Bike Run Develop’ session for those looking to get into the sport.
The one-off event, set to take place at 7pm on August 1, is aimed primarily at beginners but is open to all triathletes who could use a boost coming up to the annual York Triathlon on August 18.

A representative of the group said: “If it’s your first tri or you’re getting nervous about race day, then this could be the event for you. York Triathlon club is running a free Race Prep session packed full of top tips to answer all your questions ahead of the York Tri.
“Whether you want to go faster, or just be more relaxed, their team of top coaches are there to help.”
The session will include dealing with race day worries, transition practice, cycle skills practice, and Q&A.
Swim Bike Run is set to take place at York Sport Village (the same location that the York Triathlon takes place, giving racers an opportunity to familiarise themselves)
