YORK City winger Zanda Siziba has joined Spennymoor Town on an initial one-month loan.

Siziba will join fellow loanee Olly Dyson in the Vanarama National League North at Spennymoor, agreeing to join the Moors on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old accumulated 19 appearances in the 2023/24 campaign with York, having initially joined the club under Mikey Morton in Summer 2023, scoring two goals.

Siziba spent a portion of the season on loan in the North East with Blyth Spartans, where he featured on six occasions before being recalled to allow manager Adam Hinshelwood to cast an eye over the winger.

However, with the additions of Tyrese Sinclair and Ashley Nathaniel-George, and with Callum Harriott nearing his return from a long-term injury, it looked likely that Siziba might find game time limited in North Yorkshire.

The winger began his career in the academy of Tottenham Hotspur before being snapped up by Ipswich Town, but was released in 2023 after four years in the academy.

He would then join Yeovil Town on a two-year deal, which was mutually cancelled to allow Siziba a move to City in the Summer.

Spennymoor, who now possess both Dyson and Siziba, began their National League North season with an impressive 3-0 victory over promotion favourites Chester, having also tackled York in pre-season which ended as a 3-3 draw.

Siziba could make his Moors debut on Saturday, August 17 with a visit to newly-promoted Leamington (3pm).
