YORK City have a new kick-off time for their match with Woking on Saturday, October 5.

Adam Hinshelwood’s side will visit the Laithwaite Community Stadium in early October in the Vanarama National League, now at the revised time of 5.30pm.

This is because the match has been selected by DAZN for live enhanced production, as was the case on York’s opening day of the season visit to Southend United.

Until the National League is available to supporters on the DAZN channel, fans should continue to sign up to National League TV to watch all the matches from the fifth tier, including those which have been selected for enhanced production.

It comes as part of the previously announced deal running until 2031, where DAZN will be the new source for live National League matches, with the rights being previously held by TNT Sports.

It’s not the first time that City have been selected for live television when playing at Woking, as was the case last season.

An earlier kick-off of 12.30pm in the 2023/24 season saw Lenell John-Lewis open the scoring, before Ricky Korboa drew level with just under an hour played.

But in the eighth minute of stoppage time, defender Ryan Fallowfield capped off a York move to earn all three points under former boss Neal Ardley.

Enhanced production, as seen in the 1-1 draw with Southend on the opening day, will include commentary and pre and post-match interviews related to the fixture.
