ENGLAND Women’s Head Coach Stuart Barrow has confirmed his 19-player squad for tomorrow's Autumn international against Wales, with two York Valkyrie stars named amongst the ranks.

Both Eboni Partington and Liv Wood will be involved at Headingley Stadium (12pm) with England hoping to build on June’s 42-0 victory over France.

The duo are both included after an incredible season for York, having battled to a Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final triumph over St Helen’s.

Also involved in the squad will be former Valkyrie star Hollie-Mae Dodd, who now represents Canberra Raiders in Australia.

Dodd spoke on her inclusion under Barrow, stating: “The last time I was with England we played France at the Halliwell Jones Stadium so it’ll be really good to go into the game with a bit of the unknown.

“But I’m staying focused on myself and my own performance to make sure I put my best foot forward.

“There’s some new faces within the squad but it’s good to be around the girls again.

“Obviously, everyone aspires to pull on that England jersey, so I’m excited to be back.”

Barrow also commented on his squad, saying: “It’s been incredibly difficult to decide who will face Wales this Saturday because we have so many talented young girls coming through, but I’m happy with the squad I’ve selected and really looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead.

“With three debutants coming into the squad, Saturday will be really special for us all and hopefully we can continue on this trajectory of new names breaking into the team much like we did when we faced France earlier this year.”
