Dick Turpin v Clockhouse A was neck-and-neck after first four frames.

Clock A took a commanding 5-2 lead But it was Pooky Wilsons winning three frames from three for Turpin A, beating Fox Newby and Paul Thomas, that kept Turpin A unbeaten run going the final result was 6-6. This kept the Turpin second in the league with a game in hand to play.

Clockhouse P continue their unbeaten run. Two wins each from Nigel Batey, Nigel Thompson and Frank Nicholson were supported by wins from Ped Manfredi, Si Reccia and Gary Pearce to complete a great team performance and a 9-3 win over Clockhouse Zeds.

It was a good night for Huntington WMC A as Josh Thirlway won three from three to help the club to a 8-4 win against Haxby A. Leigh simms was also unbeaten on the night and wanted to make an impact following his free transfer in the summer from Haxby to Huntington.

Huntington C came away from Heworth A with a very good win. It was a very tight affair that could have gone either way, and a great clearance by Mark Baldwin meant The Scough lost the opener. The teams continued to exchange frames until it was finely balanced at 4-4. However, three late winning frames by Si Calvert finally gave Huntington C the edge and a 8-4 victory.

In Division 2, Green Hammerton put a dent in the promotion dreams of the Crescent, Sarah Tonin with the shock result of the season taking a win against top gun Lance Cameron in a tight game at 5-5, but Lance pulled another 2 wins to take it home 7-5

Other action saw Paul Mcgouran win 3 frames including a nice dish as Grey horse Elvington beat the Mitre 7-5

Elsewhere, David Hollings of Bish A won three frames to become the top player in the division against a very technical Edinburgh arms A’s team to help Bish to a 8-4 victory.

In Division 3 the Bay Horse edged a tight top of the table clash 7-5 at New Earswick with their Tony Brown and Max Tomlinson each winning 3 of their 4 frames (Guy Blythe won both his frames for New Earswick). New Earswick are now joined at the top on 49 points with both The Bay Horse and the Hogshead

The Hoggs Head v Beagle A was a great game the beagle raced in to a 5-2 lead only for the Hoggs Head to win five consecutive frames to claim the Bragging Rights and a 7-5 win.
