LEEDS United under-21's match at the LNER Community Stadium has been postponed - but it brings no concerns to York City's match tomorrow afternoon.

Leeds under-21's were due to play Charlton Athletic under-21's at the LNER Community Stadium tonight, but the decision has been made to cancel the match.

This is due to Storm Bert, which is set to hit York on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, as previously reported by the Press.

York are due to play at the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday for their National League fixture with Yeovil Town, with adverse weather affecting the City throughout the week.

However, the club have confirmed to the Press that as of right now, there are no plans for a pitch inspection, with precautions taking place.

City could take top spot in the National League back from Forest Green Rovers should York be victorious, and Steve Cotterill's side fall to defeat against Southend United.
