SEVEN York Valkyrie have been named in the England train-on squad ahead of their historic clash with the Australia Jillaroos in Las Vegas in March.
Savannah Andrade, Jas Bell, Georgie Dagger, Lacey Owen, Eboni Partington, Tamzin Renouf and Liv Wood have all been included in Stu Barrow’s 31-player squad.
England will meet for their first training session on December 7, and then twice a month during the build-up to Vegas. The 20-player travelling squad will be announced in February.
The match will be the penultimate of a quadruple header at the Allegiant Stadium, which also features the Betfred Super League clash between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves, and two NRL matches, Raiders vs Warriors and Panthers vs Sharks.

There’s a brand-new name included for the first time, Woman of Steel Dagger (formerly Hetherington) now playing under her married surname following her wedding to York Knights full-back and Valkyrie assistant Will Dagger earlier this month.
She returns to the England squad having missed their 82-0 thrashing of Wales on November 2, which took place the same day as her nuptials in Cyprus.
Dagger, who took on a hybrid hooker-full-back role for Lindsay Anfield’s side last season, made her England debut in a mid-season international against France, scoring one try and setting up another for centre Amy Hardcastle.
She capped off the year by helping the Valkyrie become the first team to retain the Betfred Women’s Super League title, picking up the Player of the Match for the second successive year in their shock 18-8 win over St Helens.
Former York back-rower Hollie-Mae Dodd retains her place, having made a try-scoring return to England duty against Wales after an ACL injury had cut her first NRLW season with Canberra Raiders short.
2023 NRLW Grand Final winner Georgia Roche is also included, as is Paige Travis, whose move to Parramatta Eels was confirmed overnight.
Hardcastle, Jodie Cunningham, Shona Hoyle and Emily Rudge, who all played in England’s last meeting with the Jillaroos in 2017, are also set to feature.

“We’ve had a few weeks to recuperate following the Autumn international against Wales but now all eyes are firmly on the Jillaroos," explained Barrow.
“With the fixture coming before the beginning of the Betfred Women’s Super League we have a regular training schedule from now until mid-February to make sure we’re match ready.
“Everyone in this squad has a chance to earn themselves a spot on the plane to Vegas and that is testament to the quality we have within the group.”
