YORK City have tonight announced the signing of Ebbsfleet United striker Michael Gash in a £55,000 deal.
The on-off transfer saga was finally resolved when 94 per cent of members of Ebbsfleet's owners, My Football Club, voted in favour of City's offer.
A sum of £30,000 will be paid up front, with a further £25,000 due in January.
Gash was at tonight's pre-season friendly clash with Hartlepool United at Bootham Crescent, seeing his new side win 2-0 with goals from Levi Mackin and Jimmy Jackson.
