GOALS from Michael Rankine and Richard Brodie earned York City a place in round three of the FA Cup.
The Minstermen beat Cambridge United 2-1 at the Abbey Stadium, with Rankine scoring after 37 minutes and Brodie adding a penalty three minutes later.
The home side pulled a goal back through Anthony Tonkin seven minutes from time, but it is City who go into Sunday's draw.
