YORK City are once again the underdogs as they prepare to meet Oxford United at Wembley for a place in the Football League – according to the bookmakers.

Despite the heroics of Martin Foyle’s men over the two legs against Luton Town, league sponsors Blue Square have installed the U’s as 8-11 favourites to be promoted, with York the even money outsiders, when the two sides meet in the play-off final on May 16.

Oxford are 11-8 to beat York over 90 minutes, with the Minstermen priced up at 7-4 and the draw a 9-4 chance.
