MANAGER Martin Foyle has secured 11 members of his squad in the wake of York City's Blue Square Premier play-off campaign.
James Meredith, David McGurk, Daniel Parslow, Michael Gash, Andy McWilliams, Alex Lawless, Neil Barrett, Michael Rankine, Richard Brodie, Michael Ingham and Chris Carruthers are all now under contract for next season.
Foyle is also in talks with Djoumin Sangare, Adam Smith and goalkeeping coach Simon Miotto. Offers of new contracts have been made to Ben Purkiss, Levi Mackin and Luke Graham.
Second year scholars Dean Lisles and Jamie Hopcutt have been offered short-term deals.
The following players have been released: Richard Pacquette, Josh Mimms, Jamie Clarke, Kevin Gall, Alan O'Hare, Simon Russell, Craig Nelthorpe, Ryan Qualter, Kingsley Wetherald, Dominic Brown, Michael Duckworth, Adam Scorfield and Nick Thompson.
Loan players Paul Harsley (Chesterfield) and Courtney Pitt (Cambridge) will return to their clubs.
A spokesman said: "The manager and everyone associated with the club would like to thank the players for their services and help in getting City to the promotion play-off final."
