DESPITE missing out on teenage trialist Liam Darville, York City will still monitor the Leeds United defender.
Darville has joined League One outfit Tranmere on loan from Leeds after impressing for City while right-back Duane Courtney is recovering from injury.
Said assistant manager Andy Porter: “We’ll have to see how Duane comes through tomorrow and Monday.
“We weren’t sure what to do with Liam because we wanted to see how Duane was first. Tranmere have taken him for a month but we will be keeping tabs on him for the future.”
