YORK City’s new home shirt will go on sale before tomorrow night’s pre-season home clash with Premier League Sunderland.
The club’s strip has been changed for a second successive summer with manager Gary Mills keen to mark the beginning of a new era in his first full season in charge at Bootham Crescent.
City will also sport a new away outfit next season and that will be available in the club shop for the friendly match against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, August 6.
The shirts, as modelled left by George Purcell and Patrick McLaughlin, are identical in style with the home colours red and white and the change strip blue and white.
Prices for the home and away shirts will be £40 for adults and £32 for juniors, with the club shop open from 6pm tomorrow and after the match, which kicks off at 7.30pm, as well as during week days from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Pryers Solicitors will be the club’s main shirt sponsors for a third successive season.
