SARA Renfrew and Megan Bramham were named as joint first-team Players’ Player of the Year winners at York City Ladies’ annual presentation night.
The pair were given their awards at Pike Hills Golf Club, where the achievements of Abbi Webster (Clubman of the Year), Rachel Deighton (First Team Top Scorer), Mary Bailey (Reserve Team Players’ Player), Hannah Broadhead (Reserve Team Joint Top Scorer) and Stacie Moyle (Reserve Team Joint Top Scorer) were recognised too.
City Ladies also celebrated retaining the North Riding Women’s Cup for a second successive year.
Sam Read’s goal, following good work from Jenna Strain and Renfrew, clinched a 1-0 victory over Redcar in the final.
