Brushing up on Crescent skills BOOTHAM Crescent has been spruced up by volunteers ahead of York City’s return to the npower Football League.
Learners at YH Training in the city have been volunteering their services to assist the Minstermen, working with ground staff to paint fencing, apply reserved stickers to seats for season ticket holders and generally tidying up the ground. Paula Stainton, City’s community development manager, said: “We are delighted the Learners from YH wanted to be involved and assist the club.
“The work they have undertaken has been of considerable assistance and it’s also good to know they have gained from it personally.”
The YH Learners are working towards their employability and personal development qualifications.
