THE Foss Evening Cricket League will keep its three-tier structure in 2014 after the addition of three new teams.
Bishop Wilton, North Dalton and Tang Hall Tigers were voted into the league to fill the places caused by the folding of Westow during the 2013 season and the subsequent resignations of Askham Bryan and York RI.
Bishop Wilton are expanding to field an additional side to their Pocklington League team.
North Dalton have transferred from the Pocklington League, having dominated in recent seasons with 40 victories in their last 44 matches.
Tang Hall Tigers are a work team from the York NHS Trust. Dalton will join in division two, while the Bishops and the Tigers will start in division three of the 24-team league.
The league season will begin on May 14 and, while the league is full, applications for 2015 will be fielded by the committee.
