Greenlay then took 3-19 before Heworth knocked off the required runs for the loss of four wickets.
Unfortunately Greenlay had little support from his team-mates in contrast to Heworth’s team effort that saw two bowlers, Tom Neal (3-19) and Graham Knott (4-41), plus three batsmen – Dave Simpson (28), Oliver Sherwood (30no) and Dan Walton (24no) – all contribute to their side’s victory.

The seasiders lost Richard Hornby for 25, Paul Clappison for 31 and Paul Johnson, who made 26, before victory was clinched by Richard Medforth with 53no and Ben Wallis, who was unbeaten on 33 when the seven-wicket win was achieved.

Paul Downey (5-23) and Coe (3-49) then proved more than a match for the home bowlers as they dismissed the Humbersiders for 118 with only Adam Boasman resisting in making 29 before running out of support.
The two sides relegated from division one at the end of last term met at the Racecourse home of Thirsk, where Bolton Percy had an easy win.

Teenager Alex Burton took centre stage with 3-8 in six overs.
Jon Bean then hit 51 and Matt Shepherd and undefeated 46 to clinch an eight-wicket triumph.
