Sheriff Hutton romped to a 123-run victory over Malton & Old Malton II in Hunters York and District Senior League division three.
Ben Tompkins was top scorer in Sheriff Hutton's total of 167-7 with an unbeaten 53.
Malton and Old Malton then crumbled to 44 all out against the bowling of S Marshall (6-16) and S Thornton (4-20).
In division four, the batsman's lot was not a happy one at Huby, where 17 wickets fell for a mere 139 runs, with Civil Service finally being three-wicket winners in match dominated by bowlers.
The home side were rolled over for only 68 as Simon Brown grabbed 7-31 and Paul Winn 3-16.
Dan Grainger, with 3-21, and Paul Moore, who took 4-30, then mapped out a rocky route to victory for the visitors.
But the Service batsmen eventually overcame the threat thanks to Nick Olney (27) and Jim Chisholm (26) to win by three wickets.
