Bottom-placed Hovingham lost for the fifth time in division 5A when they went down by nine wickets to Londesborough Park.
The Ryedale side were bowled out for 107 by Darren Moody, who took 5-24, and Paul Youngman, who had 4-26.
Jonathon Croft responded with 47 before being the only Parker to be dismissed, leaving Mick Drewery (25no) and Simon Dawson (26no) to clock up the straightforward victory.
The Rossington family were in the limelight as Bolton Percy got the better of a draw with Civil Service.
In Bolton’s 184-6, father John made 27 not out and eldest son James 29 not out to push Bolton’s total to 184-6. Younger son Tom then took 3-15 as Civil Service fell short at 173-8.
Rowntrees skipper Tony Thomson made 77 and Andy Main 49 in a score of 232-7, but all their efforts came to nought as half-centuries by Nick Elliott (73) and James Reynolds (78) took York to a four-wicket win.
