IT WAS all change at the top of division two as Malton & Old Malton trounced former leaders Whitkirk by nine wickets.

Malton shot out their visitors for 70, with Mike Linsley (3-24) and Oliver Gilbank (3-8) among the wickets.

Linsley then led his side into second place with an unbeaten 40.

Selby went top with a two-wicket win over Osbaldwick, thanks to an unbeaten 109 from Lee Wild.

Osbaldwick made 201-4, thanks to R Carew (76) and A Horner (59) but, despite 5-88 from R Cox, Wild steered his side to victory.

Dringhouses lost by 128 runs at Sewerby as Mark Purvis (104no) and Russ Robinson (105no) put on an unbroken third-wicket partnership of 189 for the hosts.

New Earswick were agonisingly beaten by four runs against fellow strugglers Carlton Towers.

The White Rose Avenue side bowled out their visitors for 104, with Andy Freeman taking 8-41. Earswick were denied by Mark Holmes, whose 7-38 saw them fall short at 100 all out.

Pocklington managed to hang on for a draw against Tadcaster Magnet, making 163-9 in reply to 266-7.
