Sheriff Hutton Bridge’s quest for their first division five win of the season floundered when they lost by 101 runs at Selby.
Neil Wilson (46) and Alex Bowden(28) were the main run-makers in Selby’s 181-7, while Oliver Leedham claimed 4-33. The Bridge’s youthful line-up then fell for 80 all out as Joe Romaniwz captured 6-27.
Castleford walloped Rowntrees by ten wickets.
Dominic Atkinson hit one of his highest league scores with an unbeaten 52, but his team-mates failed to support as Harry Collins (3-9) and Johnny Wells (3-32) bowled Rowntrees out for 95.
Wells piled on the agony with an unbeaten 39, though playing the secondary role to Simon Tucker who was unbeaten with 51.
Huntington lost their 100 per cent record and the divisional leadership with worst of a tight draw at Thirsk.
The hosts enjoyed an opening partnership of 129 between Neil Collinson (75) and Jamie Wilkinson (65) to underpin 206-4.
Tom Shaw, having taken two of the four wickets to fall, made 92no, while Ralph Bradley added 30 but their side fell short at 197-5.
