PICKERING II eased to a nine-wicket win over Bubwith in division four.
Brian Last (48) and Neil Readman (34) were the only two batsmen to feature in Bubwith’s all out total of 129. Home bowlers Tim Hodgson (3-29) and Sri Lankan Thiagarajan (3-5) did the damage.
After the loss of an early wicket, Matt Allison (56no) and Ryan Boyes (38no) saw Pickering home.
Woodhouse Grange opener Jon Bean carried his bat to make 117 not out as his side totalled 221-5 against Sessay.
Paul Grewer hit 27 and went on to take 3-20 and three catches to leave Sessay holding on for a draw at 233-9. Luke Ramsay made 36.
Fenner remain second behind Woodhouse after defeating Easingwold by five wickets.
Alan Robinson hit 89 in Easingwold’s 176-6. Fenner slipped to 106-5 but Dave Caine’s 71 not out ushered them to victory.
Acomb skipper Neil Hinde hit a second successive century and took 3-36, but was still on the losing side at Driffield. Hinde made 108 but had little support as Acomb were dismissed for 190, with Mark Addinall taking 5-24.
Driffield’s reply of 191-5 was a team effort, led by Rich Grice (46).
Huby bowlers called the shots at Heworth, with Dan Grainger taking 4-18 and Shaun Dixon 3-25.
Having been dismissed for 104, Heworth hit back through Ian Middleton (4-40) but Graeme Dawson’s 40 helped Huby to 107-6.
Ten-man Stillington lost by 98 runs at Hull Zingari.
Martin Russell made 67 for Zingari as Tim Wells took 3-48.
Two Stillington batsmen Carl Simpson (67) and Wayne Linton (34) scored all but 14 of their side’s total of 115 all out.
