IN-FORM Duncombe Park increased their lead at the top of division three as they enjoyed the better of a draw at Carlton Towers.
The Helmsley-based outfit batted first and scored 249-6 with Alistair Holmes leading the way on 72.
He was ably supported by Ryan Jacobs (60no), Peter Humpleby (42) and Brian Leckenby (29).
Carlton skipper Mark Holmes took 3-37.
The home side held on for a draw at 109-9, with Martin Denby 35 not out.
For the visitors, Peter Kent (3-37) and Jake Cranage (3-31) were the main men.
Malton & Old Malton II were seven-wicket winners over Drax, with Des Wyrill making 75 not out and Steve Baxter 71 as they eclipsed Drax’s 188-5.
Hovingham lost by six wickets to Welton & Brough despite Dan Asquith’s 54, while Sheriff Hutton beat Goole Town II by one wicket with Rich Ainley taking 4-50 and hitting 62.
