SECOND-PLACED Bolton Percy kept pace with Hunters York & District Senior Cricket League division two leaders Sewerby with an eight- wicket win at Osbaldwick.
The home side posted 186-8 batting first, with Adam Child top-scoring with 75 and Danny White taking 4-62 with the ball.
Losing only two wickets in reaching 189, the visitors’ top-scorer was Jamie Rigby with an unbeaten 72.
At the foot of the division, Dringhouses are some way off the pace, and their cause was not helped by a comprehensive defeat at Londesborough Park.
Skipper Charlie Rook (73) led the way in the home side’s 199-6, despite Mick Kenyon weighing in with 4-54.
The visitors were left reeling after Mark Tissiman caused havoc with 6-34, supported by Rich Foster’s 4-36, and they were all out for 100.
