Sessay won the Hambleton derby against Easingwold in division four by ten wickets.
Rob Harrison’s 25 was the only notable score as Easingwold were dismissed for 91, with Luke Ramsay claiming 3-34. Joe Watson (50no) and Darren Atkinson (38no) knocked off the runs.
Driffield’s 63-run home win over Stillington featured 62 from James Richardson and 60 by Grant Holder.
Phil Moss (4-27) was the pick of the visiting attack, backed by Wayne Linton (3-44).
Stillington’s Karl Simpson then made 33 and Chris Browne hit 41, but Mark Woodcock’s 4-51 and Mark Addinall’s 3-33 had the visitors all out for 164.
The clash between leaders Woodhouse Grange and basement side Heworth saw Grange emerge as nine-wicket winners. Tim Outram’s unbeaten 44 bolstered Heworth’s total to 140-8 after Russ Bilton had taken 5-31. Grange’s sole casualty was Mike Hattee for 55, while Stuart Craven hit 66 not out.
A total of 401 runs were scored at Pickering, where the hosts enjoyed a six-wicket victory over Huby.
Batting successes for the Pikes were Mark Aconley (68no), Charlie Marwood (62) and Ryan Boyes (39).
Earlier, Boyes took 4-46 as Huby posted 200-9 thanks to Chris Cundall (49), Shaun Dixon (44no), Darren Howell (38) and Hugh Sheddon (34).
