TEN-MAN Rowntrees were dismissed for the second lowest total of the season when they could only muster 46 against Sheriff Hutton Bridge in division five.
Mike Smith took 3-21 in his 12 overs while Dan Clipston (3-13) and Jack Hugill (3-9) compounded the home side’s misery.
Danny Kiernan fell for 23 as the visitors eased to a nine-wicket win.
Richard Sherwood’s 6-25, allied to 4-23 by Joe Romaniwz, set up an eight-wicket win for Selby at Yapham.
Home batsmen Barry Pearson and Tom Atkinson each made 29 in their 100 all out in 43.1 overs.
Selby knocked off the runs in 25 overs thanks to Ed Townend (44) and Andy Jarvis (27no).
Two lowly sides met at York IV, where a comfortable eight-wicket win lifted Whitkirk out of the bottom two and deposited their hosts into the relegation zone. Mark Thomas hit 54 for the Clifton Parkers but they were all out for 131.
Castleford took over as league leaders after ending the unbeaten record of Huntington, who dropped from first to third. Castleford were restricted to only 132-8 by Noel Collins (3-33). Tom Shaw reached 80 not out before Huntington were dismissed for 125.
Oliver Pimlott made an unbeaten 102 for second-placed Stamford Bridge, who came off second best in a draw at Civil Service. An unbeaten stand of 73 lifted Service to 181-4. Will Phelps was unbeaten on 98 and Graham Sherlock closed on 41 not out. Sherlock took 3-49 as Stamford reached 172-6.
