A STUNNING start from Osbaldwick bowler Andy Butterfield sent hosts Dringhouses tumbling to defeat in division six.
Dringhouses were 0-2 after two balls of the match from Butterfield, who went on to claim 6-4 in a devastating 11-over spell that had the hosts all out for 55.
Osbaldwick ran out winners, despite losing four wickets.
Cawood eased their relegation worries with a fine 133-run win at New Earswick.
Cawood piled up 221 with Stuart Baxter making 61 and Jim Pullein 58. Adam Hewitson took 4-34 and Dan Lockwood 3-40. Earswick’s batsmen fared dismally as only Matt Noble (42) countered Keith Towndrow (5-24) in their 88 all out.
Dunnington maintained their challenge with a 77-run win at Pocklington.
Dunnington’s 172 all out included 32 by Dan Andrew against Geoff Woodward’s 4-44 and Dan Croft’s 3-37. The Tattersall brothers, Josh (3-15) and Sam (3-17), disposed of Pocklington for 95.
