New Earswick were whipped out for the season’s lowest total when they could only muster 40 at Hull in division three.
The York side’s batting line-up was pounded by Simon Powdrell (7-20) and Hull then raced to a seven-wicket victory in only eight overs.
Brian Leckenby’s fourth century of the season earned unbeaten leaders Duncombe Park the better of a draw against promotion rivals Thorp Arch.
Leckenby hit 110 and Jacob Forbes made 30 as Park were dismissed for 202. Ben Bartlett took 5-50 from 12 overs.
Andy Griffiths then made 58 but Jack Crannage claimed 3-48 to reduce the home side to 189-9.
Malton’s promotion drive floundered at Hovingham as they were beaten by six wickets, despite 55 from Des Wyrill.
Hovingham’s Aussie all-rounder Jamie Forwood took 5-20 and Paul Deverell 3-28 to have Malton all out for 135 in 42.4 overs. Steve Mosey (30) was one of four batsmen out as Hov were led to a six-wicket win by Will Prest (67no).
Sheriff Hutton beat visitors Scarborough by three wickets.
Mark Hurst (31) had no support as Scarborough were 157 all out, with Ben Harrison claiming 4-28.
Geoff Schofield led Sheriff’s successful reply with an unbeaten 50. Matt Kay took 4-35.
