A CENTURY from Kyle Waite (102) ensured York III narrowly got the better of a draw against third-placed Malton & Old Malton at Clifton Park.
Carl Blundell chipped in with 45 in a home score of 225-8, while Malton’s Mark Yates took 3-45 and Chris Hudson 3-17.
Hudson top-scored with 37 for Malton, while Danny Harper hit 34 and Mike Linsley and Stuart Baxter both made 33. Dom Snook claimed 3-47 as Malton closed on 218-9.
Leaders Sewerby beat bottom side Osbaldwick by ten wickets.
The York side were all out for only 50 as Russell Robinson took 7-15.
Two Bolton Percy bowlers shared the full set of Tadcaster Magnet wickets to set up a five-wicket win for the second-placed promotion contenders.
Tom Atkinson took 5-18 and Danny White claimed 5-51 as Tadcaster were all out for 132. Rob Hill made 47.
White hit an unbeaten 30 after Matt Westwood had made 27 as, despite Ed Day’s 3-32, Bolton eased home at 133-5.
Ripon lost their last wicket and the match when their last man was stumped off the final ball as he attempted to score the three runs needed for victory over Dringhouses.
Chris Storey made an invaluable 70 and Sam Lingard 25 as Dringhouses totalled 180-9, with John Gains taking 4-41.
Chris Warters (47) and Howard Wooding (55) gave Ripon a good chance but, with Mick Kenyon 4-53 and Tom Storr 5-61 wresting control, the home side found themselves needing ten to win off the final over with two wickets in hand.
A prospective 21-point draw was then relinquished by the loss of the final wicket.
