STAMFORD Bridge Cricket Club are getting ready to welcome the Tartan Army this summer.
Scotland are to play Yorkshire at the Low Catton Road ground in a 2nd XI Championship three-day game starting on June 5.
The Scots, who have former Yorkshire players Gavin Hamilton and Jon Blain in their ranks, are playing in the competition for the first time this year.
The York and District Senior League club will also stage Yorkshire 2nds v Warwickshire 2nds on September 11-13.
York's Clifton Park will host four-day 2nd XI Championship match against Warwickshire on August 14-17.
Yorkshire's Second XI are to stage two matches in Sheffield this season, making it the first time that the county club have played in the city in 11 years.
They will play a Trophy match against Derbyshire at Sheffield United's ground at Bawtry Road on July 17 and over the next three days they will meet the same opponents in a Championship match at Collegiate's ground at Abbeydale Park.
Yorkshire have a long tradition of playing in Sheffield. The famous Bramall Lane ground staged first class Yorkshire matches for 110 years from 1863-1973 and when cricket ended at the venue they moved to Abbeydale Park where Championship games and one-day fixtures were played from 1974-96.
Yorkshire's final senior appearance at Abbeydale Park came in May, 1996, when they drew their Championship match against Derbyshire.
Yorkshire Seconds took their final bow at Abbeydale Park in June, 1996, when they lost a three-day Championship match against Gloucestershire by five wickets, despite a fine century from opener Simon Kellett, now at Dunnington Yorkshire Academy have arranged a one-day friendly against the Yorkshire School's Association at St Peter's School, York, on July 17.
The Academy youngsters will also be heading to Scarborough's North Marine Road to take on Durham on August 20.
Meanwhile, former Warwickshire and England fast bowler Tim Munton is believed to have joined the list of people applying for the post of director of professional cricket with Yorkshire.
