YORKSHIRE have suffered their first real setback of the season with the news that their South African fast bowler Deon Kruis will be out of action for between four and six weeks.

He suffered a hamstring strain which caused him to limp off during Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy match at Trent Bridge.

Kruis, who suffered a similar injury at the start of last season, underwent a scan yesterday which showed that the injury to his left hamstring was worse than at first thought.

Yorkshire will finalise their team later today and they will be forced into making another change if Anthony McGrath has not recovered from the chest infection which caused him to miss Sunday's game against Nottinghamshire.

If he is unfit then Andrew Gale is expected to replace him.
