Honours have been shared during the third morning of the Roses match at Liverpool.
Both sides have taken two wickets each, with Lancashire being bowled out for 329 in the first innings before Yorkshire reached 60-2 from 26 overs at lunch in their second innings.
Steve Patterson had trapped Luke Procter lbw and bowled Gary Keedy in the space five balls to wrap up the home side’s first innings, the hosts gaining a lead of 188.
Patterson finished with excellent figures of 4-51 from 24.5 overs.
Glen Chapple, who bowled five successive maidens, then got Adam Lyth caught and bowled to leave Yorkshire at 13-1 in the eighth over.
Farveez Maharoof then wrapped Joe Root on the pads 13 and a half overs later, the score being 48-2 in the 21st.
Joe Sayers has gone into lunch at 28 not out and Andrew Gale five. Lancashire lead by 128.
