Somerset look on course for a healthy first-innings lead against Yorkshire in the LV=County Championship.
This is after the Tykes only managed to take two wickets during a rain affected morning session on day three at Taunton.
By lunch, Somerset had reached 437 for eight – a lead of 79 runs.
James Hildreth had done most of the damage, reaching the interval on an unbeaten 78, with Steve Kirby on one.
Yorkshire began the day hoping for quick wickets - and after the weather delayed the start of play by an hour; Ryan Sidebottom struck with the fifth ball of the day to remove Lewis Gregory for 17.
Oliver Hannon-Dalby also impressed to get rid of Gemaal Hussain for four, before Kirby and Hildreth dug in to lead their side to a healthy position by the end of the opening session.
